Savannah, Georgia – The Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) Board of Directors recognized former Board Director Kenneth Adams with a special bus stop dedication ceremony on June 6. The event celebrated Adams’ significant contributions to public transportation and the Chatham County community during his four years of service.
The ceremony unfolded at the bus stop located at the intersection of Augusta Avenue and Stratford Street, where a commemorative plaque honoring Adams was unveiled. Family members, local leaders, friends, and community members attended the public event, expressing their appreciation for Adams’ work and dedication. As part of the celebration, guests presented Adams with yellow roses, symbolizing admiration and respect.

Deidrick Cody, Chairman of the Board of Directors, described the recognition of Adams as a “well-deserved tribute” to his determination and leadership.
