Originating from South Carolina, Green began his college experience at Bluefield State, where he played football before transferring to SSU. His passion for journalism has flourished at SSU, where he has taken on leadership roles, including president of the SSU chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and executive producer for WTRT-Tiger’s Roar TV.
