For those who may not know, the Faith and Health Coalition formed back in 2014 to support faith-based organizations focused on promoting health. It’s been doing wonderful work, having successfully received two generous grants from the CDC, including a $3.4 million grant in 2018 and another $5.1 million grant in 2023.
When it’s all said and done, the Tide to Town network is set to provide over 30 miles of trails connecting more than 60 neighborhoods and 30 schools across Savannah and Chatham County.
