While residential garbage and recycling collection will follow the usual schedule on July 4, yard waste collection services will not take place, resuming on Saturday, July 5. Additionally, street sweepers will not be active on July 4, but will return to regular operations on Monday, July 9. Both the Dean Forest Landfill and the Bacon Park Transfer Station will close for the holiday and will reopen on July 5 for normal business hours.
