The first day commenced at the Gulfstream Research and Development Campus in Pooler, where the class received a welcome address from the city’s Mayor, Karen Williams. Following the welcome, participants toured the Gulfstream manufacturing plant, gaining a firsthand look at its operations.

Additionally, the program included insightful explorations of the military’s role within the region. Participants visited the 165th Airlift Wing, engaging in site tours, panel discussions, and experiencing a demonstration flight aboard a C-130 military transport aircraft. The final day of the session featured a visit to Savannah Technical College’s Crossroads Campus, where an overview of the aviation program was provided to the graduates.

Angela Hendrix, the LSEGA program manager, addressed the significant influence of the military on employment and educational opportunities within the Chatham County region. Kendria Lee, serving as the LSEGA Chairwoman, highlighted the integral role of local fisheries and culinary education in the local economy, reaffirming their importance to the region’s foundational stability and growth.

On the concluding day, Brynn Grant, President and CEO of the Liberty County Development Authority and recognized as USA Today’s 2025 Georgia Woman of the Year, spoke to the graduates, encouraging them to continue their leadership journey and maintain the momentum gained throughout the program.

During the graduation ceremony, each participant was awarded a plaque commemorating their achievement. The Class of 2025 comprised a diverse group of leaders from various sectors including private business, government, education, law, real estate, military, infrastructure, and banking, illustrating LSEGA’s commitment to building a comprehensive network of community leaders.
