Additionally, another fire occurred early Sunday morning at approximately 12:03 a.m. at the 7000 block of Van Buren Avenue. Upon arrival, Savannah Fire Department crews encountered heavy flames. They immediately engaged in a fast attack mode and declared the fire under control approximately one hour later at around 1:03 a.m. Fortunately, there were no injuries or displacements reported in this incident, as the house was vacant at the time of the fire.
