Spring has officially sprung in Savannah, Georgia! From March 27 to April 6, 2025, the Savannah Spring Fair is taking over the town with delightful attractions and exciting activities. Located at 105 Fort Argyle Rd, this year’s fair promises to be bigger and better than ever!
Imagine yourself soaring high above the ground on thrilling carnival rides, testing your skills at midway games, and savoring delicious fair food like funnel cakes and cotton candy! The highlight of this year’s event is the sensational Banana Derby, where talented monkeys show off their racing skills while riding adorable dogs. It’s a sight you truly don’t want to miss!
In a fun twist, Gilligan the monkey even made an appearance on a local morning show, chatting with hosts Steve Lisko and Phil Hendricks about the excitement surrounding the fair. There’s no doubt that everyone is buzzing with anticipation for the upcoming festivities!
As if that wasn’t enough, Savannah is also hosting a free Spring Break Extravaganza for local youth on Saturday, April 5, 2025. This fantastic event is organized by Savannah’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (ONSE) and is open to all young folks in the area at no cost! How great is that?
The Spring Break Extravaganza is set to be a day full of activities and opportunities. Expect a job fair where young attendees can explore summer program options and gain valuable work experience. There will also be basketball activities, games, delicious food, and exciting prizes to be won!
The ONSE’s mission is to create positive experiences and connect at-risk youth with essential resources and support. It’s truly a blessing for Savannah’s younger generation, giving them a chance to have fun while also gaining important life skills.
But wait, there’s more! Following the Spring Fair, Amusements of America will return to the Kiwanis Fairgrounds, located at 16942 GA-37, Statesboro, GA, for a thrilling Spring Carnival from April 9 to April 13, 2025. This bouncy bonanza is leased by the Kiwanis Club and, while it’s not a replacement for the usual fair, it promises to deliver loads of fun.
Attendees can enjoy the carnival without any admission fee, making it an affordable and entertaining option for families. Plus, there will be no local vendors, allowing guests to focus purely on the excitement of the rides, games, and indulgent food stands—think funnel cakes, sausage and peppers, and cotton candy galore!
For those looking to fully enjoy the carnival rides, special offers will be available on wristbands. A fantastic deal allows you to purchase a $100 value wristband package that can save you up to $35 if bought before April 10, 2025. Note, though, that wristbands are non-transferable, non-refundable, and must be used at the same time for all four riders. Keep that in mind while planning your day!
