Savannah, Georgia – Switchyards, recognized as the first neighborhood work club globally, is poised to transform the working environment in Savannah with the opening of its latest location on July 28, 2025. This new club will be established at 217 E 41st Street, housed in a refurbished 4,700-square-foot antique warehouse from the 1950s. With its unique offering, the Savannah Switchyards aims to provide a dedicated workspace that caters to the evolving needs of remote and flexible workers.

Members at the Savannah club will enjoy around-the-clock access, creating a distinct separation between their work and home environments. The club is designed to be an inviting space, incorporating cozy nooks, ample natural lighting, and an overall atmosphere conducive to productivity. It will also feature several amenities designed to facilitate collaboration and focused work, including a café, a library, phone booths, and a bookable meeting room—all at no additional cost to club members.

The Savannah site marks the 27th club in the Switchyards franchise and the first location within Georgia outside of Atlanta. Membership will grant access to all existing and future Switchyards locations across various cities such as Nashville, Charlotte, Asheville, Denver, Kansas City, Charleston, Birmingham, Austin, Greenville, and Durham.

As the demand for innovative workspaces continues to rise, the CEO and Founder of Switchyards, Michael Tavani, noted Savannah as a strategic choice due to its rich variety of iconic neighborhoods, making it a favored city for the company. The introduction of this club aligns with the growing recognition of the need for what Tavani refers to as a “third place for work,” balancing the need for productivity without the confines of traditional office settings or home distractions.

Potential members interested in joining the Savannah Switchyards can purchase their memberships starting Wednesday, July 24, 2025, at 10 a.m. However, only 250 memberships will be available for this launch. The first 11 Switchyards clubs located in different cities have sold out on their initial membership release days, indicating robust interest and demand for membership in the Switchyards community.

Future members are encouraged to join a mailing list for early access and other offers through the official Switchyards website, offering a streamlined process for those eager to engage with the new location. More information about all Switchyards club locations is also available on their site.

As Switchyards prepares for its opening day, the anticipation surrounding the new Savannah location highlights the ongoing transition in work culture, emphasizing the importance of adaptable spaces that foster collaboration and creativity.
